Update: Home destroyed after north-side fire

A dog was saved following a north-side house fire, but reports indicate two puppies were lost in the blaze. Thunder Bay Fire Rescue firefighters responded to reports of a house fire on Fitzgerald Street near Cumberland Street shortly at 1:54 p.m.
