Thunder Bay Ice Lacrosse are participating in the 2025 Ontario Lacrosse Festival

Thunder Bay will need to win out and get some help from Duluth and Eau Claire to have a shot at the Northwoods League postseason.

The pop duo, known for Y2K-era hits like “Sucks to Be You”, “www.nevergetoveryou”, and "Europa" will be returning as Prozzäk for the first time in years.

Three past winners are among the four golfers remaining in the championship bracket at the event, celebrating 95 years in 2025.

Basil Lychowyd, the CLE fair’s chair and vice-president of agriculture, said he is sure the community will be very happy, as all of Northwestern Ontario comes to the CLE grounds and enjoys the rides and the different foods.

Jennifer Tempelman, the Ladies of the Italian Society of Port Arthur’s acting president, said they believe there were probably anywhere from 3,500 to 5,000 people attending for the day.

Curlers Krista McCarville, Kendra Lilly, Ashley Sippala and Sarah Potts join forces for the fifth year to help the golf tournament try to reach its $100,000 target.

The individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in late August.

The fire department said occupants of the home exited without incident before their arrival on the scene.
