New cell sites aim at improving local service
TbayTel has announced the activation of six new 4G network cell sites. The sites are at key locations across city and will provide better cell coverage. Small modules have been constructed to increase coverage in Thunder Bay.

Pedestrian injured after May Street crash
A woman received unknown injuries after being struck by a vehicle at the corner of May Street and Arthur Street. Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to the call around 3:30 p.m. Friday about a vehicle colliding with a pedestrian.

Open for business: MTO opens new section of divided highway
For the first time in 17 years a new four-lane section of highway has opened up in the Thunder Bay area. Ontario’s Ministry of Transportation announced Friday that the new lanes between Hodder Avenue and Highway 527 are now open to traffic.
