The premier’s office is being tight-lipped about Dalton McGuinty’s surprise Friday visit to Thunder Bay. McGuinty is scheduled for a morning tour of the Bombardier plant.

Rain leads to rescheduling of police auction

The city’s police auction will not go ahead as scheduled. The Thunder Bay Police Service announced Thursday afternoon that it would have to cancel its regular scheduled police auction due to rain. The auction is now set for Thursday, May 31.
