A stretch of Highway 527 remains closed. Officials with the OPP confirmed early Monday morning that the highway remains closed from Highway 11/27 to Armstrong. Poor weather conditions, including freezing rain, led to the road closure. As of 7 a.m.

FORT WILLIAM FIRST NATION, Ont. -- A 16-year-old girl is in critical condition after being struck by a pickup truck Saturday evening. Officials with the OPP said the teen was walking on Squaw Bay Road when she was hit by the truck after 8 p.m.
