The James Street Swing Bridge lit up social media after it caught fire in the early evening hours of Oct. 29. Nobody was injured as a result of the blaze, which was deemed suspicious by investigators.

A 19-year-old was stabbed twice on Boxing Day at Intercity Shopping Centre, but his leg wounds are non-life-threatening. Thunder Bay Police say the incident occurred at about 2:30 p.m.
