OPP warns of emergency scams

The OPP is warning the public about a scam that is targeting people across the country. The OPP and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre issued a warning about the "emergency scam" Wednesday.

Police make gunpoint arrests

Local police officers arrested two men at gunpoint Tuesday evening. Thunder Bay Police Service officials say officers were responding to a domestic dispute around 7:30 p.m.

Pair robs man at knifepoint

Police are looking for a man and a woman who robbed a man at knifepoint outside of a bank. Thunder Bay Police Service officers say the armed robbery took place outside of the Bank of Montreal on Red River Road just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
