A 9-8 lost to host Quebec has dropped Thunder Bay’s Mike Assad into the middle of the pack at the Canadian Mixed Curling Championship.

A 9-8 lost to host Quebec has dropped Thunder Bay’s Mike Assad into the middle of the pack at the Canadian Mixed Curling Championship.

Assad, lead Kady Stachiw, second Taylor Kallos and third Ashley Kallos fell to 3-2 on Tuesday at the event, being staged this week at the TMR Curling Club in Mont-Royal, Que.

They take on Saskatchewan on Tuesday afternoon.
