Cats drop second straight

Phillip Lyons had a pair of RBI, but Duluth’s Wade Wass bettered him by one, leading the Huskies Sunday to a 5-2 home-field win over the Thunder Bay Border Cats.

Chad Richie (2-3), who pitched 6.1 innings of relief after starter Mitch McQueen left in the second, was tagged with the loss.  Duluth starter Joey Novak picked up the win.

The Cats and Huskies are scheduled to meet Monday night at Port Arthur Stadium, weather permitting. Game time is 7:05 p.m.
