The high school sports season is under way.
On Monday the Churchill boys scored a 3-0 sweep of Dennis Franklin Cromarty in senior boys volleyball. They weren’t quite as lucky on the junior side, falling 2-1 to La Verendrye.
On the links, Churchill extended its undefeated record to 3-0, sweeping Westgate in three matches. Elsewhere it was St. Patrick 3, La Verendrye 0 and Superior Collegiate squeaked past Hammarskjold 2-1.
