The semifinals are set at the Strathcona Invitational and there is still a pair of ex-champions in the hunt.

Defending champion Robert Cumming will take on Robbie Untinen and  1983 winner Mark Willianen will battle Ron Robinson on Monday, for the right to advance to the afternoon regular-division championship final.

On Sunday Cumming knocked off Robert Atatise to earn one of four semifinal spots. Untinen defeated Jordan Gehl, Willianen won over Bill Shewchuk and Ron Robinson ended Barry Caland’s hopes of a record eighth title.

In the senior championship, low qualifier Randy Fossum will take on Rollie Turrie, while in the super senior championship it will be cagey veteran Tony Stokaluk going up against Glen Fossum.
