Thunder Bay skip Marlo Dahl can’t buy at win at the Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Kitchener-Waterloo.

Dahl, who led 5-4 heading into the ninth end against defending champion Tracy Horgan of Sudbury, gave up two in the ninth and a steal of two more in the 10th to fall 8-5 in Wednesday afternoon’s fourth draw. The loss drops Dahl to 0-4 at the provincial women’s curling championship.

Over on Sheet 3, Thunder Bay’s Krista McCarville was having a little more luck.

McCarville, who started the week with a pair of losses, stole three in the six to take a 6-1 lead over North Bay’s Kendra Lilly (2-2) and went on to win 9-2, the match ending after eight ends.

McCarville (2-2) takes on Bayview’s Julie Hastings in the evening draw, while Dahl will seek her first win against Jill Mouzar.
