The Thunderwolves just wish they weren't on the receiving end.

The former Thunder Bay Kings netminder turned aside 37 shots to blank No. 6 Lakehead, as the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks recorded a 1-0 victory in Ontario university hockey play at the Campus Ice Centre in Oshawa on Friday.

The only goal of the contest came at 14:30 of the second period when Ridgebacks forward James Woodcroft beat Lakehead goaltender Jeff Bosch. Bosch stopped 25 pucks in the game.

Dzijacky made sure the lead was held, as in the third period the Thunderwolves outshot Ontario Tech by a 12-7 margin but the freshman keeper was able to withstand the barrage of rubber.

With the loss, Lakehead's regular season record now stands at 9-2-0 as the Thunderwolves remain in a tie for the OUA West lead with the Windsor Lancers and Toronto Varsity Blues.

The Thunderwolves will get a chance at revenge as the two teams play again on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Oshawa.
