Thunder Bay is showcasing talent at the Russmat baseball tournament in Central Florida.
Itasca Community College has four Thunder Bay boys suiting up for them in the Sunshine State.
Infielder Kody Anton, 19, outfielder Brad Cooke, 21, catcher Kai Knudsen, 18, and pitcher Mitch Coulson, 20, are the young men representing our city.
The Russmat tournament hosts more than 200 colleges from all levels – NCAA division I, II, III, NAIA and JUCO.
The experience these ballplayers will gain is crucial toward the development of their own individual play along with their team success.
Itasca will play 12 games in eight days against college teams from all over American and will look for continued success for team and player development.
