Fragale's 22 pace Wolves to win over Waterloo

The Lakehead Thunderwolves completed a weekend sweep in Waterloo on Saturday. Carolyn Fragale scored a game-high 22 points and Katie Ulakovic added 16, leading the women’s basketball team to a 68-55 win over the host Warriors.

The Lakehead Thunderwolves completed a weekend sweep in Waterloo on Saturday.

Carolyn Fragale scored a game-high 22 points and Katie Ulakovic added 16, leading the women’s basketball team to a 68-55 win over the host Warriors.

Winta Desta had eight points and four boards and Jessica de Haan had nine points and four rebounds before fouling out in just 12 minutes of action.

The win improves the LU record to 5-4, good for third spot in the OUA West, while the last-place Warriors dropped to an abysmal 0-9.
