Trevor Gamache and Luke Judson scored in the shootout Friday, leading the Lakehead Thunderwolves to a fourth straight OUA hockey win.

Alex Dupuis stopped Evan Stibbard and Spencer Pommels at the other end of the rink to secure the 3-2 road victory over the Windsor Lancers.

The Wolves took a 1-0 lead on a Mike Quesnele power play goal in the first, an advantage they’d hold until the third when Windsor’s Matt Beaudoin knotted the game at the 8:31 mark. Less than four minutes later Matt Caria put Lakehead back on top with his eighth goal of the season, but Brett Oliphant scored shorthanded 34 seconds later to tie the game 2-2.

Windsor had a pair of power plays in overtime and out-shot the Wolves 8-1 in the extra frame, but could not beat Dupuis.
Parker Van Buskirk took the loss for Windsor.
