Matti Paavilainen and Alex Robichaud each netted 15 points as the Gryphons (8-0) remained undefeated with a 54-42 win Wednesday over Hammarksklold (4-4).

Nick Potter scored 17 points and Geordie Savela added 10 for the Vikings.

Eric Trevisan’s 20 points was enough to lead St. Ignatius to a narrow 55-52 win over Sir Winston Churchill, led by Tim Baxter’s 14.

On the junior boys court, Jordan Kelly scored 16 as Churchill rocked St. Ignatius 70-32 to remain unbeaten at 8-0.

Elsewhere Justin read had 17 points in Superior’s 42-38 win over Hammarsjkold.

In boys curling, Superior (Black) demolished Hammarskjold by the unheard of score of 19-1, while in girls play Westgate knocked off Churchill (Grey) 6-1 and Superior doubled Hammarskjold 6-3.
