Alex Dupuis held the Carelton Ravens off the scoreboard Saturday afternoon for two periods.

Lucky for the Lakehead Thunderwolves.

Dupuis’s teammates built a 4-0 lead on Saturday afternoon, then watched the Ravens storm back with three goals in nine minutes to close to within a goal.

Andrew Wilkins provided a little breathing room 11 seconds after Jeff Hayes scored Carleton’s third goal, but the Wolves hung on for the 5-4 win. Hayes narrowed the gap once again with five minutes to go.

Luke Judson, Adam Sergerie, Trevor Gamache and Thomas Frazee scored second-period goals for Lakehead.

Frazee also had a pair of assists for the Wolves, who snapped a two-game losing streak.
