If only they were all this easy.
Yoosrie Salhia and Ryan Thomson were at it again on Saturday, delivering an 80-53 rout of the Dickinson State Blue Hawks at the Wesmen Classic in Winnipeg. Salhia was good for 17 points and seven rebounds, while Thomson had 12 points and six boards in the win.
Both were outdone by British rookie Joe Hart, who hit eight of 12 three-pointers en route to a 28-point performance as the Wolves triumphed for the second time in two non-conference outings over the holidays.
Guard Greg Carter was also a big contributor, scoring seven points to go with 10 assists, five rebounds and three steals.
"We had a strong defensive three quarters that I was pleased with. That being said we can still improve our weak side rotations and transition D,” Lakehead coach Scott Morrison said in a release.
“Winnipeg is going to be a tough matchup for us tomorrow – they are one of the top teams in Canada West and playing good ball right now."
Johnie Sanders had 13 for Dickinson State, located in Dickinson, N.D.
