Jordan Christianson scored twice and added three assists and the Lakers also got two-goal performances out of Merritt Rysavy and Colton Spicer as they downed the Thunder Bay North Stars 10-4.

Tyler Broderen, Kevin Kurm, Alex Bruess and Simon Desrosiers also scored for Fort Frances (24-13-3), who climbed back into a third-place tie with the host North Stars, with four games in hand.

Matt Kaarela had a goal and an assist in a losing cause, with Bryce Maggrah striking for a pair and Mathias Gardiman adding a single for the Stars (25-18-1).
