Lethbridge beats Thunder Bay at juniors

Home field proved advantageous Sunday for Lethbridge Southwest.\ The host squad downed the Thunder Bay Junior Nationals 6-2 at the Canadian Junior Little League Championship, dropping Team Ontario to 2-2.

The host squad downed the Thunder Bay Junior Nationals 6-2 at the Canadian Junior Little League Championship, dropping Team Ontario to 2-2.


Tylers Minoletti was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Devon Eheridge drove in the other and went 2.2 innings on the mound for the losing side.
Preston Esquega was tagged with the loss, giving up two earned runs in an inning of work.


First baseman Treyd Hubka had a pair of RBI for Lethbridge (3-1). Thunder Bay is fifth at the seven-team tournament.
