McDonald first Thunder Bay Boston Marathon finisher

Conditions were very un-Thunder Bay-like Monday in New England, but that didn’t stop a half dozen local runners from finishing the Boston Marathon in less than four hours. Ryan McDonald led the local contingent in the prestigious 26.

Conditions were very un-Thunder Bay-like Monday in New England, but that didn’t stop a half dozen local runners from finishing the Boston Marathon in less than four hours.

Ryan McDonald led the local contingent in the prestigious 26.2-mile race, finishing 1,236th overall in a time of 3:13:30,
Thunder Bay’s Marcia Migay was the top local female finisher, crossing the line in 3:35:55, good for 3,797th overall, 604th in the women’s division.

Next up was Darren Sneve (3:45:36), Tom Pazianos (3:44:35), Lindsay Baraskewich (3:58:42) and Allan Harris (3:59:42).
