THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Superior International Junior Hockey League Commissioner Bryan Graham has announced the following suspension:
JAKE ROBINSON, THUNDER BAY NORTH STARS – TWO (2) GAMES
Robinson is suspended two (2) games for his actions in SIJHL Game No. 78, English River Miners @ Thunder Bay North Stars, played on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016.
He receives an automatic two-game suspension under 6.5 (d) of the CJHL Supplement for incurring a major penalty and subsequent game misconduct for checking to the head in the third period of Sunday’s game vs. English River
Robinson’s suspension will be served during the following games:
Game No. 80 – Monday, Jan. 4 vs. English River
Game No. 81 – Wednesday, Jan. 6 vs. Fort Frances
