THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Superior International Junior Hockey League Commissioner Bryan Graham announced Wednesday the following suspension resulting from an incident during SIJHL Game No. 42, Thunder Bay North Stars @ Thief River Falls Norskies, played on Saturday, Nov. 6:

BLAIR LINDHOLM, THIEF RIVER FALLS NORSKIES – FIVE (5) GAMES

Lindholm is suspended for his actions under rule 6.1 (f) after incurring a match penalty for butt-ending for an incident during the first period of the contest vs. the North Stars.

The player’s suspension is for the following games:

SIJHL Game No. 45: Wednesday. Nov. 9 vs. Minnesota
SIJHL Game No. 47: Friday, Nov. 11 @ Minnesota
SIJHL Game No. 49: Saturday, Nov. 12 @ Fort Frances
SIJHL Game No. 51: Wednesday, Nov. 16 vs. Minnesota
SIJHL Game No. 54: Saturday, Nov. 19 vs. Dryden
