The St. Ignatius Falcons junior girls basketball made it a clean sweep Wednesday for the north side school.

Alessandra Woods netted 17 points to lead the Falcons to a 39-38 win over the Westgate Tigers, clinching a junior championship to go with the senior crown their schoolmates won the night before at Lakehead University.

Whitney Scott had 21 to lead all scorers.

It was St. Ignatius’s seventh junior title in the past 11 seasons.
