Stars scurry past Lakers

Isaac Howarth  scored the equalizer midway through the second period, setting off a four-goal run that delivered the Thunder Bay North Stars to victory on Friday night.

Cary Brow, Wade Garbett and Kris Kellaway also tallied as the Stars won for the third time in four games under new coach Todd Howarth, beating host Fort Frances 5-2.

Merritt Rysavy and Colton Spicer were the Laker goal scorers.
