Thunder Bay’s skips have dug themselves into an early hole at the Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Kitchener-Waterloo.

McCarville (0-2) was slammed 9-3 by Cathy Auld (2-0) in Draw 2 on Tuesday to fall to 0-2, while Dahl (0-2) stayed winless as well, falling 7-2 to SherryMiddaugh (2-0), a three-time semifinalist at the national championship.
