Tilley terrific for Stars

The Fort William North Stars held off a hard-charging Sioux Lookout Flyers squad on Friday night, earning their second win of the Superior International Junior Hockey League season.
The Fort William North Stars held off a hard-charging Sioux Lookout Flyers squad on Friday night, earning their second win of the Superior International Junior Hockey League season.

Travis Tilley led the way for the defending champion Stars, potting a hat trick, including the power-play winner 10:54 into the final stanza.

Dan Usisky and Rylan Henley scored the Stars other goals in their 5-3 victory.

Matt Grove, Brad Bienvenu and Nelson Rosiak were the host Sioux Lookout marksmen.

Jayme Brattengeier made 19 saves to pick up the win. Jesse Wilkins faced 45 shots in the Flyers net.
