On Monday the St. Ignatius Falcons handed the Churchill Trojans their only loss of the senior boys volleyball season.
On Tuesday the Trojans emphatically ensured it wouldn’t happen again, in the process capturing their second straight Superior Secondary Schools Athletic Association title.
Churchill took the first two sets 25-20 and 26-24, before dropping the third set 25-20. But in the fourth and final set they put away the pesky Falcons, denying them their first title since 2006.
The Falcons finished with a 10-5 record.
