After falling 4-2 to York on Friday, Matt Caria, Mike MacDonald and Adam Sergerie ensured the Wolves would escape the GTA with a pair of points, securing a 5-3 win.

Mike Hammond and Chris de la Lande traded goals with Mackenzie Micks and Michael Santini in the first and second, sending the game tied 2-2 into the final frame.

Jeff Bosch made 20 saves to pick up the win for the Wolves (11-7-2), who jumped back into a fourth-place tie with York (12-8-0).

Lakehead returns home next weekend for a pair against the University of Ontario Institute of Technology Ridgebacks.
