Through a thoughtful gift in their will, Kevin and Mary Holloway have chosen to leave a lasting impact in our community by establishing a Legacy Fund with the Thunder Bay Community Foundation.
Both Kevin and Mary are graduates of Queen’s University, where they developed a shared appreciation for education and the arts. Their vision is to support local initiatives that address food security and uplift artistic groups, ensuring these essential areas continue to thrive for generations to come. Kevin previously served on the Foundation’s grant evaluation committee and has a deeper understanding of our community’s needs.
“It was a natural connection,” says Kevin. “The Thunder Bay Community Foundation is established and has a good process that gives the donor a peace of mind. Our hope is to help organizations do programs or projects that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to do.”
