Three years later and it looks like it’s business as usual in Kitchen­uhmay­koosib Inninuwug First Nation. For the people who live there, it’s not a good thing.

I don’t usually get a flu shot. I eat well, am very active, get lots of sleep each night and try to wash my hands often to stay healthy during flu season.

I’ve been thinking about the Sidney Crosby situation lately and I discovered that I have something in common with the best hockey player in the world.

Politicians aren’t the most trusted lot out there. But for the most part, they mean well. Their handlers, however, are a completely different story at times, especially during election season. Take the Conservative Party of Ontario, for example.

To the Editor, I completely agreed with Andy Wolff’s comments on bike lanes in your editorial section last week. I moved back home several years ago after living in Edmonton for almost 30 years, where most of my travel was on foot, bicycle and bus.

Dear Editor, I really have to commend our city administration for their Bike Lane Project.

Whenever I see or hear an election ad these days I’m reminded of that famous line from a Robert DeNiro movie, “Are you talking to me?” I am an Ontario voter so they must be talking to me but I’m not sure they have anything interesting to say.

To the editor: It’s time for a change that puts people first. The Liberals have been critical of our NDP platform for the region and how that might affect the Ring of Fire. Well, let me explain the NDP’s plan for the Ring of Fire.

To the editor: I have been noticing a lot of letters have been submitted against these bike lanes. Here’s a win-win-win solution. Don’t have bike lanes, have designated bike routes.
