To the editor Dance for Memories Community Dance Event is very similar to a walk or run event. The difference is participants raise money by dancing for just one hour to their favourite musical decade.

To the editor: In response to Yves Friscot's letter: “Budget out of touch” of Friday March 25, 2011 Although I do not believe that this is an overly productive budget I do believe that it is a starting point.

As a kid, any time I was sick from school I would curl up on my parents’ bed and watch the wonderful world of daytime television. I wasn’t particularly thrilled by the talk show hosts and their interviews. But the game shows? Those, I lived for.

When the next census is taken there will be a major demographic shift to consider. A new class of “pre-adults” or “extended adolescents” has emerged and the culprits, it seems, are young males in the 20 to 30 year range who just won’t grow up.
