Editorial: Cup win well deserved
Winning the Stanley Cup couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. Last Wednesday, Thunder Bay’s Patrick Sharp hoisted the trophy, taking it from Marian Hossa and planting his lips firmly on Lord Stanley’s Mug before passing it along.

I always carry a life jacket in my boat – it’s the law. Do I really have to wear it all the time? The law does require that you have a life jacket (also known as a PFD – personal flotation device) available to each person in a boat.

Summer in the city
When I was a kid growing up in Fort William summer was one of my four favorite seasons. Every year about this time I would count down the days until school was out and two glorious months of summer holidays began. But it wasn’t all fun and games.
