As I travel between my work in the Senate in Ottawa and my home in northwestern Ontario I have the opportunity to talk to Canadians from all walks of life.

To the editor, In response to the story Ring of Fire moving forward, Premier suggests (June 15, 2015) , the excuses given by Premier Wynne for her lack of progress in the Ring of Fire are, frankly, not based in fact.

To the editor: I certainly agree with Raymond A. Smith that our roads or deplorable. Yet again we must all pay more in taxes while our city deteriorates further, leaving many citizens feeling like captive cash cows for city council.

If you’re planning on attending a city event, don’t light up. That’s the message council sent to smokers on Monday night, when they unanimously voted to ban smoking at city organized public events.

To the editor, Ignore Thunder Bay's social problems instead of ignoring a Facebook page is actually some people's solution. There is a serious amount of resources being used to completely eliminate a single Facebook page.

LETTER: Party goers leave huge mess at Sandstone Lake

To the editor: A large number of young people had a party at Sandstone Lake this past weekend. The people stopped members of my family and friends on the way to our camp. The police where definitely aware of the party.
