I am writing in response to the article “Television needs silly, pointless fun.” (Thunder Bay Source, Thursday, November 6, 2014). I do not agree. Pointless fun is just that—pointless.

I take great issue with the timing of J.R. Shermack’s opinion .

The Energy Task Force is at it again, attempting to convince the province to convert the Thunder Bay Generating Station to natural gas. They seem to haave a compelling argument.

Thank you to the 385 people of Red River Ward who voted for me in the municipal election. I am very disappointed that you didn’t get more for your decision. I was shocked and extremely disheartened by my results in the Red River Ward election.

It’s sad Mayor?Keith Hobbs feels he has to disconnect from social media. But it really should come as no surprise, given the tone the Internet has taken over the past few years.

This year marks the 86th anniversary of Otto Rohwetter’s great idea – the one invention to which all others have been compared ever since.

To the editor: The more I think about this event centre the angrier I get.
