THUNDER BAY -- Two vehicles collided at the corner of Balmoral Avenue and Berverly Street before striking three pedestrians.
Paramedics placed a female pedestrian in a neck brace on a stretcher and took her to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
"That patient probably took the brunt of the accident's force," said Thunder Bay Fire Services captain Harold Spithoff.
"As to the extent of injuries, we're not really sure yet. She seemed to be conscious."
A male child passenger in one of the vehicles was also taken to hospital by ambulance for observation.
Paramedics treated two male pedestrians in their early 20s on scene for their injuries.
A female driver suffered some bruising in the incident.
