THUNDER BAY — An Ontario Provincial Police search for a missing Thunder Bay woman has ended in tragedy.
Kaitlin Restall, 41, was found deceased Monday morning on the shore of the Kaministiquia River following a single-vehicle motor collision, OPP reported.
Restall was reported missing on Sunday at 11 a.m.
The OPP said she had left a private residence on Hawkeye Lake late Saturday night to return to the city, but never arrived.
Local officers, the OPP Emergency Response Team and an OPP helicopter were involved in the search, as well as numerous volunteers.
