City's disc golf course up and running
Residents walking near Birch Point will here "Fore!" coming out of the woods now that the city has created a disc golf course. The 18-hole course was set up over the Spring with target baskets installed earlier this Summer.

Another victim of crash near Kenora dies in hospital
Another passenger of a vehicle involved in a crash near Kenora has died. The single-vehicle crash took place on July 22 on Highway 17A. Police officers with the Kenora detachment of the OPP responded to the crash shortly after 8 a.m. that morning.
