THUNDER BAY – Police are involved in an ongoing standoff at a house on the 1400 block of Balmoral Street Thunder Bay Police Service spokesman Chris Adams said the initial call came in shortly after 12:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.

OLIVER PAIPOONGE -- It appears no one was hurt on Monday when an SUV hit an idled train on tracks off the 15th Side Road. The front passenger side of the vehicle was heavily damaged in the crash. There is no official word on damage to the train.
