An electrical fault is being blamed for a fire that caused major damage to a North side home Monday. The fire broke out at a Banning Street home around noon. Heavy smoke was billowing out of the windows when fire crews arrived.

One man is dead after his vehicle was struck by a train near Fort Frances Friday evening. Donald Robert Boland, 92, was driving south on Hwy 617 in Stratton just after 7 p.m. when his vehicle was hit by a westbound CN freight train.

Helicopter crash victim dies in Pennsylvania
