City police say goodbye to retiring police pooch

A member of the Thunder Bay Police Service known for having an incredible success rate was honoured Wednesday. Police Service Dog Thunder has retired. He has been on the job with his partner Const. Joe Prevett since August 2005.

Police have identified the victim of a Tuesday fatal motor-vehicle crash near Atikokan. Officials with the OPP say Fredrick James Munro, 76, of Atikokan died after a collision between the car he was an occupant of and a commercial vehicle.
