Two police officers injured after late night incidents
Two city police officers suffered injuries following a pair of incidents overnight. Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say one officer suffered a black eye and needed stitches across his nose.

Small fire causes district jail evacuation
A small fire at the Thunder Bay District Jail prompted an evacuation of its inmates. Thunder Bay Fire and Rescue crews were dispatched to the jail shortly after 4 p.m. on Tuesday to respond to reports of a fire that originated in a dryer.
