OPP commissioner reappointed to another three-year term

The Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police has been given another three-year-term. Chris Lewis was first named the force’s commissioner in August 2010, after a 32-year OPP career that began in Kapuskasing.

A Geraldton house fire is being treated as suspicious by Greenstone OPP. On May 25 around 3:30 a.m., officers on patrol came across a Third Avenue South East house engulfed in flames. The Geraldton Fire department extinguished the fire.
