Two-time Northwood councillor says she's ready to broaden her base and take on more issues affecting the entire city.

Former CBC journalist finished fourth in the 2018 mayor's race and third in 2014. There are now 34 candidates who have filed nomination papers in the upcoming municipal election.

In total four wards switched hands on election night, which saw six new faces voted into office to serve for the next four years on city council.

Online votes show incumbents are leading in three out of the five at-large seats, with newcomer, Peng You well ahead with more than 13,000 votes.
