When the community is in trouble, this city’s residents step up. Evidence of that came immediately after flood waters damaged numerous homes across Thunder Bay.

LETTER: Are provincial dollars really needed?

Is it right for the City of Thunder Bay to plead financial hardship due to the sewage treatment plant failure even if it has tens of millions of dollars in the Renew Thunder Bay fund? Is the province obligated to spend its dollars to bail out city ad

LETTER: Injured and nowhere to go

To the editor, I’ve just read the article on your site (Horrific Results: WSIB hurting the workers it’s supposed to help) and I am writing to ask if anyone can advise me on my situation? I am a 57-year-old man and throughout my working ca

LETTER: At a loss

To the editor: So all this talk about water conservation and what's the city doing but washing the streets and power spraying the library? As a victim of this flood I am appalled by some of these out right silly actions.

EDITORIAL: A community response

Thunder Bay has had a bad week, and that’s probably one of the more serious understatements of the year. Recent floods have left considerable damage across the city and homeowners are scrambling to pick up the pieces.

LETTER: Some comments insensitive to flood victims

To the Editor, I just wanted to comment and clear the air on the photograph of an OPP police cruiser that was in a sink hole on Oliver Rd.
