Letters to the Editor

Letter: Evergreen walks make a difference

To the editor, I've been participating in the Evergreen walks since the beginning, and have noticed a marked difference in the neighbourhood since the walks started a year ago. People are friendlier and expect to see us week after week.

To the editor: On behalf of the president, executive, members, staff, volunteers and Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Port Arthur Branch No 5, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all that helped out this year at the Waverley P

Editorial: Donations to good causes

Letter: Recognition needed

To the editor: This Nov. 9 will mark the 22nd anniversary of the tearing down of the Berlin Wall. It was a historic event signaling the end of the Cold War, which affected several generations of Canadians between the years 1946 and 1989.

Letter: Priority must be safety

To the editor: I’ve read the umpteenth item about a Mac’s store getting robbed. Obviously Mac’s management is not recognizing or acknowledging the danger they are placing their employees in.
