LETTER: Attitude toward truck traffic disapointing

To the editor: I am disappointed, but not surprised, by the small-mindedness of the both the City of Thunder Bay’s council and the population of the city itself.

To the editor: I am feeling quite concerned about the proposed closure of the Conservatory. I think how much money is being spent on the decor' at the waterfront and how those dollars could be bettered utilized to refurbish the conservatory.

At least this hotel has already got a name. Late last week developer Steve Gupta confirmed he intends to build a Mariott Town Place Suites hotel on lands ajacent to the Superstore parking lot.

LETTER: Thanks to police for recovering my car

To the editor: I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Thunder Bay police force for all they did to recover my vehicle. I never expected in a million years to have my car returned and have a person held responsible for their actions.
