Heavy damage sustained by SUV that hit parked train
OLIVER PAIPOONGE -- It appears no one was hurt on Monday when an SUV hit an idled train on tracks off the 15th Side Road. The front passenger side of the vehicle was heavily damaged in the crash. There is no official word on damage to the train.

Washed out road fixed
THUNDER BAY – A washed out road on Gorevale Road between Hazelwood Drive and Dog Lake Road has been fixed. The washed out roadway was first reported at about 8:30 a.m. Monday. Crews had the road repaired before noon.
