THUNDER BAY – A suspect involved in a 2013 homicide case pleaded guilty Monday, however nearly all other facts have been concealed by a strict publication ban.
The suspect, who was a youth at the time of the homicide, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder at the Thunder Bay Courthouse.
A rare publication ban is not only protecting the identity of the then young-offender, but also bars media from publicizing the identity of the victim.
In accordance with that publication ban no other details about this case, including previously published information, can be described.
The case is scheduled to return to court in March.
